Konjac Sponge Cleanser and Exfoliator

Regular price £7.50

WHAT IT IS

A natural plant sponge from subtropical Asia, Konjac gently cleanses and exfoliates, helping you achieve radiant skin. It is infused with activated charcoal – a wonderful product for detoxifying the skin – and it releases a natural cleansing foam. Best suited to oily skin types, the sponge supports toxin removal and oil balance to clear blemishes and draw out blackheads.

HOW TO USE

Immerse the sponge in warm water until it softens. Press (don't wring) it to remove excess water, then rub it into the skin from the neck to the forehead in very gentle circular motions. Concentrate on the oilier areas of the skin like the nose and the chin, as well as the eyebrows, where bacteria flourishes.

Between uses, leave the sponge hanging on its cotton string to dry out. Look after your Konjac Sponge and you’ll be able to enjoy it for 100 washes.

TONE

Follow your Konjac cleanse with a spritz of our Rosy Glow Facial Toning Mist in Organic Bulgarian Rose. This helps rebalance the relatively high pH of the tap water to a slightly acidic pH consistent with the natural protective acid mantle of the skin.

MOISTURISE

Finish up by applying a couple of drops of your favourite Zing Organics facial serum to add moisture and plump the skin. Our facial serums all have a pH consistent with the protective acid mantle of the skin.

TOP TIP

The Konjac is a wonderful item to keep in your gym or travel kit, as if you forget your cleanser, simply rehydrate the sponge and you're good to go.

A WORD OF WARNING

We'd suggest never using this product more than once a week. Over-exfoliation can cause dryness in mature and dry skin or, ironically, excessive sebum production in young and/or oily skin. For daily cleansing, go for our Eco Marine Algae Facial Cleansing Masque (suitable for the majority of skin types).
